The advantage of the Fero(Fix) is that it grows along with your child. The backrest, to which the headrest is attached, can be extended. When the headrest is extended the shoulder parts widens. As the Fero(Fix) can be used from the age 3,5 years till 12 years old it is money well spent.. The Fero(Fix) is the solution for children that are outgrowing their current car seat.
The FeroFix is simple to install due to the IsoFix system. This is an internationally standardised system for the fitting of child’s car seats in cars. As from 1 January 2011, car brands are obliged to equip every new car with the IsoFix system. The system consists of two anchor points which are located in the car between the backrest and the seat. The IsoFix system is used for stability and solid feeling.
Fero(Fix) means always ready to go
For a lot of parents, it is a challenge to get the children dressed, fed, equipped with their bags and ready to take them to day care or to school on time every morning. It is often a race against the clock. Once in the car, it is very helpful if parents can buckle the children in quickly and even better if children can buckle up themselves. The special characteristics mean that the Fero(Fix) is also suitable for active parents who enjoy going out with their children since the buckling up is very quick and easy. Another advantage is that for years you don’t have to worry about buying another car seat since it can be adjusted to the growth of your child. A standard feature of the Fero(Fix) is AirProtect®, a sort of air cushion located on either side of the child’s head providing extra protection in case of side impact. This is extremely important given that 25 percent of all accidents involve sideways collisions. In the event of a collision of this kind, a child is not safe without protection on both sides of the head.
Fero without Fix
If the car is not equipped with IsoFix anchorage points, we recommend the purchase of the Fero instead of the FeroFix. Fero is exactly the same child’s car seat as FeroFix, but it isn’t provided with IsoFix. The FeroFix is installed with IsoFix anchorage points and a 3-point seat belt. The Fero can be installed with a safety anchor and a 3-point seat belt.
