Yes, you may install the Maxi-Cosi Pebble on the front passenger seat, but only if the airbag has been deactivated. The Maxi-Cosi Pebble can be installed with a base, i.e. the Maxi-Cosi FamilyFix (IsoFix)/EasyBase 2 (belt), or the car seat belt. Very few cars have IsoFix anchor points installed on the front passenger seat, so installation is only possible using a 3-point car seat belt. See the car manual for more information.
We advise against using any kind of infant car seat for premature babies. The use of a car seat is not recommended until the child has reached a healthy weight of 2500 grams: NEW GUIDELINE: ANY CHILD THAT IS ALLOWED TO LEAVE THE HOSPITAL MAY BE TRANSPORTED IN A GROUP 0+ CAR SEAT
The Maxi-Cosi CabrioFix and Maxi-Cosi Pebble are not designed to be installed using a 2-point seat belt system. These car seats may only be installed using a 3-point seat belt system (approved in accordance with the ECE R16 standard) or, preferably, onto the Maxi-Cosi FamilyFix base, which is attached directly to the IsoFix anchor points in the car.
Yes, the Maxi-Cosi Pebble can be used in an airplane. The seat has special certification for this purpose (see the sticker on the bottom of the seat).
The Maxi-Cosi Pebble sun canopy is made of black fabric that protects against both sunlight and UV rays.
The Maxi-Cosi Citi, Maxi-Cosi Cabrio(Fix) and Maxi-Cosi Pebble from model year 2001 and up can be used with all pushchairs/Maxi-Taxis from Maxi-Cosi (using the right adapters). From model year 2002, these car seats also fit on Quinny brand pushchairs, with the exception of the new Quinny Zapp, on which only the Maxi-Cosi Cabrio(Fix) or Maxi-Cosi Pebble can be placed. It is also possible to place the Maxi-Cosi Citi, Maxi-Cosi Cabrio(Fix) or Maxi-Cosi Pebble on pushchairs of a number of other makes. Ask your retailer.
