THE ELEA RECEIVES GLOWING REVIEWS FROM PARENTS
We have recently sent the Maxi-Cosi Elea, which has just won a Top Gear Award from FQ, to be tested on a selection of pushchair review websites and have received some very positive responses.
The sleek and stylish design of the Elea impressed Loved by Parents, who awarded the pushchair five stars. The Elea’s spacious seat and flexible recline positions were highlighted as key product features for maximum comfort. The reviewers loved the Elea’s simple fold, as the pushchair can easily fit into the car without having to remove the seat. The Elea overall was reviewed as convenient, comfortable, stylish and sturdy.
The Made by Mums team also appreciated the ergonomic folding mechanism. The inward and downward fold reduced the width of the pushchair greatly, which is brilliant for storage in narrow hallways. The Elea also lived up its one-handed handling claim, as the reviewers highlighted this as a top feature when battling down busy city streets.
The Mummy News reviewers had never seen such a unique folding mechanism on any other pushchair, and were impressed that the Elea could stand upright unaided. The baby nest was also a top feature providing a snugly, padded, warm and enclosed environment for newborns, adding extra comfort and support for smaller babies. The pull tight strap feature of the seat unit was also a hit with the reviewers, who had only ever seen this feature on car seats. The team were impressed that the Elea came with everything you needed to get going: the frame, seat unit, baby nest, hood, raincover, bumper bar, parasol clips and Maxi-Cosi car seat adaptors. Mummy News considered the Elea to be the must have pushchair for 2011.
First 4 Dad’s
was impressed by the simple assembly of the Elea and the easy to follow instruction manual. The puncture free foam tyres were highlighted as a top feature and perfect for days spent out and about. The seat was also considered comfortable, spacious and well padded, and the option for a forward facing or rear facing position was considered a bonus. Overall the Maxi-Cosi Elea was reviewed by First 4 Dad’s as wonderfully comfortable, flexible and adaptable, and fabulously innovative in design.
As well as the undisputed unique fold, the Pushchair Trader team appreciated the unique design features of the Elea. The reviewers commented that the mechanics work well, making life easier when going about your day. The front swivel wheel control, sensibly located near the slots for inserting the car seat unit, avoids having to lock the wheels from the front of the pushchair on rough terrain. The reviewers also liked the adjustable handle, designed to suit parents of different heights, as well as the large basket which is easy to access even when the seat unit is in place. Overall, the Maxi-Cosi Elea was reviewed as a contemporary-looking pushchair that performs in a way in which modern lives require.
