• When can my child switch from an infant seat to the Maxi-Cosi Rubi?

  Answer

  Make sure your baby’s head is generously protected by the (top of the) car seat. Your baby has outgrown his baby car seat when the top of his ears extend past the top of the car seat shell. Do not switch to the Maxi-Cosi Rubi until this time and keep you baby rearward facing for as long as possible in order to protect the fragile neck and head. Note: it is not a problem if the child’s legs extend beyond the edge of the seat.
