  • Are adapters available for installing my infant car seat on a pram and/or pushchair?

All Maxi-Cosi prams and puschairs which are compatible with a Maxi-Cosi infant car seat are delivered with adapters. A number of other pushchair manufacturers also offer adapters that can be used to attach the Maxi-Cosi infant car seat to the frame. Ask your retailer whether there are any adapters available that can be used with your pushchair.

  • Can I take my pushchair on an airplane?

Most airline companies will permit only a single, small and fully collapsible pushchair (5-7 kg) in the cabin. In most cases, you will have to check in your pushchair at the check-in counter. We recommend inquiring with the airline beforehand about the specific rules since they may differ per airline.

  • Do all Maxi-Cosi pushchairs meet all legal requirements?

All products sold by Maxi-Cosi comply with the most recent European guidelines and legislation and European standards (EN1888:2003) at all times. But Maxi-Cosi subjects its products to more stringent testing than is required by European law, so that we can guarantee excellent quality.

  • How long is the guarantee on my pushchair?

We have entrusted not only the sale, but also the service and guarantees of our products to a number of official dealers/retailers (link to dealer list). You bought the pushchair from your retailer, which means that he or she is responsible for dealing with your complaints and ensuring they are resolved appropriately. The specific warranty conditions can also be found at www.maxi-cosi.com under ‘Warranty’. To pursue a claim against the factory warranty, you must submit your proof of purchase to the baby specialty shop where you bought the product.

  • How should I care for my pushchair?

Pneumatic tyres: The tyres are fitted with a car tyre valve. They can be inflated using the pump supplied. Make sure not to exceed the maximum pressure of 1.8 Bar. Also make sure that all tyres are inflated sufficiently and equally (at least 1.5 Bar, maximum of 1.8 Bar/26 PSI) to ensure the pushchair is comfortable to push and to prevent premature wear and tear. Hard parts: The frame and wheels on the Maxi-Cosi pushchairs are easy to clean. Remove all dirt, mud and other debris using a damp cloth. Do not use silicon lubricants, as they will attract dirt and grime. Use a dry Teflon spray instead. Fabrics: The fabric parts of the Maxi-Cosi pushchairs must be washed by hand.

  • Is it possible to attach a ride-along board to a Maxi-Cosi pushchair?

Yes, there is a Maxi-Cosi Buggy Board available which is specifically developed for the Maxi-Cosi pushchairs. This Maxi-Cosi Buggy Board is tested in combination with the Maxi-Cosi pushchairs, therefore we recommend to only use this ride-along board. Click here for more information on the Buggy Board.

  • Where can I order pushchair parts?

You can order parts through the retailer where you bought the pushchair. Your retailer is responsible for servicing and for any repairs. You can also ask your baby specialty shop about prices and delivery times.
