The Maxi-Cosi Rodi XP2 and Opal proved the best rated child car seats in the most recent safety test conducted by the independent pan-European Consumer Organisations (ICRT).
Adding to the excellent test results of the Maxi-Cosi Rodi XP2 and Opal car seats was the recommendation of the ICRT that the car seats are good value for money. The Consumer Organisation particularly appreciated the efforts that had been made to improve the ease of use for the parents and to raise the level of comfort for the child.
It was the first time the Maxi-Cosi Rodi XP2 and Opal were tested by a consumer organisation, as part of a test of 25 car seats from various brands.
In earlier tests conducted by European Consumer Organisations, the Maxi-Cosi brand also received a high score for safety across the entire product line, ranging from car seats for babies and toddlers to car seats for older children.
