Our warranties

Going the extra mile

Taking care of families is what Maxi-Cosi service is all about. That’s why we want you to enjoy our products for as long as possible, without worrying about something going wrong.

Because we’re so confident in the quality of our products, we offer 2 types of warranty:

  1. A generous 24-month standard warranty on every Maxi-Cosi purchase
  2. A Lifetime Warranty on our car seats, basespushchairs and carrycots

What do the warranties cover?
Both warranties cover manufacturing defects when the products are used normally and as instructed in the manual. They don’t cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by accidents.

How to get your Lifetime Warranty

Our Lifetime Warranty goes the extra mile to help you enjoy your Maxi-Cosi car seat, stroller or carrycot.

You’re eligible for the warranty if you’re the first owner of the product. If it was a gift, you can still register it in your name. You’ll need to have proof of purchase.

To claim your Lifetime Warranty, you need to register your product within 3 months of purchasing it. You’ll then receive a Lifetime Warranty certificate. You’ll need your purchase receipt to upload when you register.

Register your Maxi-Cosi now

Bought your car seat, pushchair or carry cot between 1 October 2015 and 1 January 2016? You’ll be automatically upgraded to the Lifetime Warranty when registering your product.

What to do if your product goes wrong

If something goes wrong with your product, first stop using it.  You should then contact our customer care team on 01284 413 141 or at uk-customercare@dorel.eu.

  • For the Lifetime Warranty have the original proof of purchase and the warranty certificate on hand
  • For the 24-month warranty have proof of purchase made within 24 months of your claim on hand
