Installation
Installing your car seat is never a hassle with our Maxi-Cosi Pearl One i-Size! First, install the FamilyFix One i-Size base in your car using the ISOFIX connectors. Then snap the Pearl One i-Size car seat onto the base with a simple "click”. The base will notify you each time when your baby is secured and you are ready to "go”!Check the user manual or read our checklist for correct ISOFIX installation.
Safety
At Maxi-Cosi we have carried over 50 million babies home from the hospital. For us, your child’s safety is Maxi-Cosi’s top priority. External crash test centres, such as the German automobile organisation ADAC (Allgemeneir Deutscher Automobil-Club), tested our Pearl One i-Size on dynamic safety and ease of use, and rated it as good.
In addition, the Maxi-Cosi Pearl One i-Size car seat holds the Swedish PLUS-test certificate, a safety test which rates car seats based on the performance of their head and neck protection. Rest assured that in a PLUS-tested car seat, your child is well-protected in the event of a frontal collision. Last but not least, our Pearl One i-Size complies with the latest European i-Size safety standard for improved safety. It offers better head, neck and body protection while enabling up to 105 cm (approx. 4 years) of rear-facing travel with the base unit, which is considered the safest travelling position for children. The FamilyFix One i-Size will give you peace of mind by providing visual and audible confirmation when the seat is securely attached.

The Maxi-Cosi Pearl One i-Size complies with the latest European i-Size safety standard. It holds the Swedish PLUS-test certificate, offering superior safety performance while enabling rear-facing travel to children up to 4 years of age.
Our Pearl One i-Size is designed to fit on the FamilyFix One i-Size base for a safe and easy ISOFIX installation. When correctly installed, you get a visual and audible confirmation on the base, giving you extra peace of mind. Getting your little in or out of the car seat might sound like a hassle, but we assure you that this is not the case with our Pearl One i-Size car seat. Our unique easy-in harness stays open, making sure you can get the child in and out in a matter of seconds.
Removable cover
On the road, snacks or drinks don’t always end up where they are supposed to. Sometimes your little one gets car sick. But no matter what happens, we are there for you: Maxi-Cosi’s car seat cover is machine washable and easily removed.
Travel system
The Maxi-Cosi Pearl One i-Size works in tandem with the FamilyFix One i-Size base, which is also compatible with the rock baby car seat. Designed to complement each other perfectly, the three elements can be purchased separately at any time. Using the Maxi-Cosi Rock as a baby car seat for your newborn and then switching to the Pearl Smart i-Size will offer safe rear-facing travel from birth right up until around 4 years of age.
